About Pads Chicago This personal website is run by a homeless person and is intended to serve as a tool to the suburban Chicago homeless community, however homeless and formerly homeless persons as well as staff from agencies and anyone with a genuine interest in homelessness from all areas may join. The use of Pads Chicago is for resourceful information and social communication and support, including positive and negative feedback by members regarding their experiences.  Please use clean language only! Please note that Pads Chicago is a personal website and NOT affiliated with PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter).  The name Pads Chicago is generated from the  actual pads on the floor that homeless people sleep on at shelters.  Pads Chicago is not a 501(c)3 charitable organization at this time.
